Canopic jar topped by Qebehsenuf.
The heart was left in the body as it was believed to be weighed in the afterlife to determine whether the person had lived a good life.
Imsety (human head) protected the liver. Qebehsenuf (falcon head) guarded the intestines. Hapy (baboon head) protected the lungs. Duamatef (jackal head) guarded the stomach. The jars were then placed in a special casket.
This one has the head of Qebehsenuf as the lid.
